Welcome!

The Brattleboro Area Flyers Club is a small non-profit group of model aviation enthusiasts centered in southeastern Vermont. Our members come from Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.

We are affiliated with and sanctioned by the Academy of Model Aeronautics. All our members are required to be AMA members which provides critical support and insurance for our activities. AMA Site

Our mission is to foster the sport of Model Aviation in all it's forms, to provide a safe place and helpful guidance to our members and to the public, and to have fun.

We fly from two fields in Brattleboro, The Dennis Bailey Field at the WSWMD landfill cap and at the Vermont Agriculture Business Education Center.

We meet informally but try to coordinate our flying sessions to accommodate new pilots, competition, and to have a safe and social experience. In season, Tuesday and Thursday evenings have been a traditional gathering time for new pilots and instructors. Saturday afternoons and Sundays have also been popular. We try to meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in Winter at Home Town Auto Body at 7:00pm.We will try to post any changes or special gatherings here Events Page

Members are also encouraged to perform field mowing and other maintenance tasks. We will have a few work parties in the spring to get the field ready.
